Lakis Tolias, the mainstay of Tolias Humphreys & Co. has had more than 20 years experience in the private sector.

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Politics in 1971, he began his career as an Internal Auditor for a London based shipping line and has travelled the world many times over.

After leaving the "sailor-life", Lakis worked in a wide variety of businesses in the manufacturing and service industries, both national and international. From an early age he held the positions of CEO and CFO.

After seeing the need for a no-nonsense, practical approach to assist small to medium sized organisations to fulfil their potential in the market place; in 1991 he established Tolias Humphreys & Co. with the help of his wife, Tina.

Tina Tolias, née Humphreys, started her financial career in banking. In 1985 she moved into management accounting and combined working life with studies for CIMA.

Working mainly in the service sector at senior management level, she excels at sorting out the type of financial muddle that most find bewildering and frustrating.

During her career she has had many dealings with mergers, acquisitions and disposals of companies, including public utilities.

Tina is involved with the computerisation of finance and other business systems, with expertise in finding fast and effective IT solutions to suit individual business needs.
